The app senses your farts with the microphone. It listens and says "hmm, that sounds like a loud enough fart to light a flame" and then it ignites - Pffft BOOOM! Or, if you want to watch your iPhone blast some computer farts on fire, you can do that too by touching the screen and enjoying the soothing visuals of farts on fire.
